January 23 Why parents should always check their children's homework before they hand it inA first grade girl handed in the drawing below for a homework assignment ![]() After it was graded and the child brought it home, she returned to school the next day with the following note: December 10 Lily Allen - Fear I'm a huge fan of lily allen and have been from the very beginning... her latest song is amazing and I love it.. I think she is an amazing girl who takes no shit and just lives her live the way she wants to. December 04 weight watchers and stokeWell two weeks ago I went to Stoke for a week for work and that meant that I couldnt go to WW because of being there... and because i was away and in a hotel i ate crap crap crap and more crap..... and didnt fancy using the hotels gym... too cold and too lazy lol
anyway I enjoyed a week of mcdonalds pizza hut etc etc etc and paid for it by putting on 0.7 Kilos... so i didnt write about it as was too annoyed at myself.
BUT I have been at gym 5 times since and stuck to the points plan and this week lost 1.6Kilos WOOOHOOOO!!!
in total now I have lost 3.4 Kilos... not loads but enough to make me smile. and I've only been doing it for about 6 weeks now.
I have set myself a new goal of 1 stone - 6kilos before xmas.... so I only have 2.4 kilos left to lose!
I've bumped up the gym to 4 times a week and only drinking one night a week and then only having 6 vodkas instead of 14! lol
so lets hope I can do it!
I made apple crumble the other night from the weight watchers recipe and thought I was doing Sooooooo well i mixed all the topping ingredients together and poured the melted marg into it the pan and instead of being able to sprinkle the mixture onto the top it was one big lump.... so my crumble was an apple lump... i ate a bit of it and threw the rest away... :( i'll try again but maybe not add my own special ingredients lol November 14 will you accept my drawing as payment?!I saw this posted on a forum and couldnt resist but to post it... absolutely brilliant! and the spider is even on sale at ebay!

Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. Attached ![]() November 13 no friends or family? - Weight Watchers week 2 Ok, so I didnt do that well this week.. I only lost 400g which is about 1 pound :( I cant complain too much to be fair as I didnt particularly stick to the points at the weekend. Friday was a mates birthday and a round of pub golf which consists of having a drink and a shot in every bar and only drinking it in a certain amount of gulps... I stuck to just vodka soda's but had a couple of shots andcant remember how many I had.. I do remember sneaking off at midnight and waking up in my bed... So I suppose at least I was sensible enough to go home! Saturday was ANOTHER friends birthday and consisted pretty much of the same thing as friday although I think I drank three times as much alcohol and stayed out till 3am.... I got home ok but made a fool out of myself more than once.. the normal crying for no reason... walking complete opposite way home... awful really when I think about it.. Well this week I have decided no alcohol, and I will be sticking to my points religiously although My granmother and two uncles are over this weekend and insist on eating out every night... hmmmm I sometimes wish I had no friends or family it would be so much easier to stick to healthy eating lol This Video is from Friday and some of our antics! ok it wont let me embed the video but here is a link to it instead http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?success=1&id=876670004#/video/video.php?v=33499469612 November 12 RAF and fireservice do ROCK STAR!This has to be one of the best videos I have seen in a long time, I cant give enough praise to the boys out fighting every day for other peoples lives.
My own family is in the miltary and older generations have been in the Navy, RAF, Army etc
All I can say is boys you do your country proud, even in times of the credit crunch, disasters you still come up smiling
wish you all the best of luck and safety :)
November 10 Deleting commentsI keep getting spamming comments left and its starting to really annoy me..
I could not for the life of me find out how to delete the comments and tried several different settings and just kept going round and round in circles and as I'm sure everyone else is aware windows live spaces isnt particulary fast.
I did a simple google search and found from another windows live space owner this URL http://<spaces-id>.mobile.spaces.live.com Remove the <spaces-id> and replace it with yout spaces id example mine is http://lovealentie.mobile.spaces.live.com
I dont want to go into too much details as you can find all the information on Jamies page :)
Its interesting though because I have no idea what the spammers get from leaving strange comments... I had one WOW GOLD repeat themselves over and over again and I may be wrong but that doesnt do anything if they are trying to get some SEO they arent going the right way about it because simply repeating the words gold wow over and over again on other peoples blogs does nothing but harm thier site.
November 06 Weight WatchersI started the Weight Watchers points plan last week
I thought I would write about it here as although I am embarressed about how much I weigh and desperate to lose weight I thought it would give me extra inspiration to write on here as then i'll be too embarressed if i havent lost anything.
I wont write down everything I had to eat etc as that will just be boring but I will mention that on friday I had saved myself 15 points and decided that for dinner I would have a liquid meal.
the liquid consisted of 15 vodka and sodas and I used a couple of points from the next day and had a strawberry dakeri lol
I also had a bag of crisps and some chocolate throughout the week... I ate three meals a day and also plenty of fruit
Basically I ate more than I normally would but just swapped things like butter for flora, no sugar in my tea, switched full fat milk for skimmed etc etc
My biggest problem is that when im making dinner I used to be hungry and would eat a snadwich while cooking my meal.. so although i though i was eating a healthy meal i was also eating a sandwich. Now I am writing everything down and noticing how much I eat I dont have that sandwich because that would mean i cant eat my dinner and dont save points for my liquid dinner at the weekend :)
I've joined a gym and have been twice in the week doing 30 minutes on the treadmill... i'd like to say running the whole 30 mins but i cant im not that fit. I try to run for a couple of minutes jog for a couple run for a couple etc etc i tend to run for about 3 then walk for about 5 lol but im hoping i'll get better as time goes on.
Well anyway enough of that I lost 2.1Kilos! in ONE WEEK!!
So to celebrate me and bing went to pizza hut , I know stupid place to celebrate but i've decided that if I have lost at leats 2 kilos on the wednesday weigh in I can celebrate by going out for dinner and as long as no alcohol is drank eat what i want. I have something to look forward to.
Anyway I want to lose a total of 20 kilos so 17.9 kilos left!
I'll update weekly and if anyone has any weight loss tips or any funny stories of them trying to lose wieght i'd love to hear them.. i'll be posting my funny stories soon :)
October 25 SUpport the GURKHAS PLEASE sign petition
Gurkhas are fighting for Justice. They want the same terms and conditions as their UK and Commonwealth counterparts. Britain has had no greater friends than the Gurkhas. They have served all across the world in the defence of our Country for nearly 200 years. Over 45,000 died in the two World Wars as part of the British Army. They are still fighting in the British Army today. You may have seen in the media that the Gurkhas have been fighting in Parliament and the Courts. Step by step, things are getting better - but there is a long way to go. On Tuesday 30th September, the High Court ruled their treatment had been unlawful in terms of the right to live in the UK if they retired before 1997. Following that fantastic High Court decision, the Government has to change the law on how it treats Gurkhas. We demand the full, fundamental change in law that will allow all retired Gurkhas the right to live here. By signing up you will be expressing your support for all Gurkhas. Join me in the campaign: together, we can finally right this wrong. October 23 KerryKatona on this morning
I feel so sorry for kerry Katona, everyone is saying she was drunk and off her face. Her PR agency should not have allowed her to go on air. It was reported that she took her medication at about 2am the night before as was unable to sleep. She would have had to have woken up at least 8am and with the medication still being in her system this would make her slur her words and seem different.
I dont suffer from depression but have people close to me who do suffer from Bipolar and have to take medication and they too sometimes get people accusing thwm of being druink/on something.
I just wish that someone would have stopped her going on the show or she would have not taken her medication at such a late time.
Kerry I personally would like to wish you the best of luck in life and hope you can get a better management team. October 21 Kids swearing toys
This Video is Brilliant i havent laughed so much in ages... Infact when I next see my nephew I'm gonna nick his toys and see what words I can come up with lol I remember when me and my brother were kids and we had a toby tape recorder with microphone (must have been second hand coz we couldnt afford such cool things like that normally) and me and my brother thought it would be hilarious to record ourselves swearing and then play it back.... Well this was great until the next day we had a row and he decided to get me in trouble. He recorded over what he had said with silence and left just me on there saying "hahahah u smell u F**ing C**t" Yes it was awful language for a 9 year old but he taught me to say it! needless to say i had to stand in the corner of the room with soap in my mouth for 30 minutes.. Yes my mother ACTUALLy made me do it. I know alot of parents threaten thier kids with it my mother actually went through with it. That reminds me I still owe my brother for that one... hmmmm I wonder what i can do to get him back!
October 20 kids copying adults
Someone sent me this video on facebook and I couldnt stop laughing... reminds me of my nephew and how he copies things I say.
I have a habit of saying things are poo and if i dont like something its poo. well my nephews favourite word is poo and if we are messing around he tells me I smell of poo, I look like poo and he will poo on me. I know its not a nice thing to say to his aunty but its a little special thing between us when we are annoying each other and it makes him laugh like a hyena :)
September 23 Lion is a family memberI saw this video and nearly cried, how lovely that the lion remembers the people that brought it up.
I had a cat about 7 years ago and when I moved to Spain I had to give it to my friend as couldnt bring it with me.
Everytime I go back to the UK I go see the cat and it still remembers me.
September 04 RegularlyThis word is a word that I for some reason cannot say, no matter how hard I try or how slow I try I end up sounding like a an idiot.
This word actually haunts me, because when I am in a meeting or trying to talk to an affiliate I dread this word coming up. If i feel it coming up in a conversation I try my hardest to use another word.
It would be interesting to see what other words people have problems saying

Google sent a comic book out to journalists explaining what it's all about.
The comic does a fantastic job of explaining things, well worth a look. Google announcement http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/...n-browser.html Discussion and article here: http://blogoscoped.com/archive/2008-09-01-n47.html Scans of the comic are up here . http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/ Screen shots: http://blogoscoped.com/archive/2008-09-02-n72.html Taken from: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/...n-browser.html "So why are we launching Google Chrome? Because we believe we can add value for users and, at the same time, help drive innovation on the web.
All of us at Google spend much of our time working inside a browser. We search, chat, email and collaborate in a browser. And in our spare time, we shop, bank, read news and keep in touch with friends -- all using a browser. Because we spend so much time online, we began seriously thinking about what kind of browser could exist if we started from scratch and built on the best elements out there. We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that's what we set out to build. On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn't the browser that matters. It's only a tool to run the important stuff -- the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go. Under the hood, we were able to build the foundation of a browser that runs today's complex web applications much better. By keeping each tab in an isolated "sandbox", we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built a more powerful JavaScript engine, V8, to power the next generation of web applications that aren't even possible in today's browsers." August 28 my Favourite picture everThis was taken when I was about 4 or 5 years old, I lived in Grand Cayman when I was ounger for two years.
We lived in an aparment complex on the beach which had a pool and alot of families living there too.
Was and am sure will be for a long time one of the best times of my life and I am so lucky to have experienced it.
My dad used to go scuba diving with his friends when they would come back they would throw their tanks into the pool for the kids to play with and well as you can see I was always one of the first to get one!
This photo brings back so many memories
